If you’re one of those big fans, who’ve been waiting immensely to see what the second trailer of “Avengers: Endgame” will show, than you might’ve already seen the surprise trailer that Marvel Studios has released.
This trailer has given us a roller coaster ride with our emotions. We see the grief that has set upon our heroes after what happened in “Infinity War” and to save those who have been lost, it will be a great challenge.
If you have yet to see the trailer, I definitely recommend before continue reading cause your trusty nerd will be doing a breakdown of what is happening in the trailer, so, go watch it!
1. Flashbacks
Before we are able to see what’s about to go down, we get to see some recognizable flashbacks from both Tony, Steve and Thor: The day Tony escaped the terrorists with his Mark I suit, Steve trying to enlist into the Army and Thor preparing for his crowning as the Prince of Asgard.
These are completely black and white, except a few small tints of red. An indication of loss. There are also shots of half the team being disintegrated and a red tint being shown on them as well.
2. More Hawkeye/Ronan
Last time we saw Hawkeye (Now more seen as Ronan), we were only able to see small glimpses of him but with this trailer, we definitely see more of him. Natasha is definitely going to be the person who will be close to him, especially since they do have a long history of knowing each other.
There’s also a debate going on over social media of a particular scene where he’s training a young girl in Archery.
Many believe that the young girl may be Kate Bishop, who, in the comics, takes over the “Hawkeye” name and is part of the Young Avengers. There are others who are putting it simply: the young girl is just his daughter, Lila. Whatever the case may be, it’s an exciting thought that even if this isn’t Kate Bishop, there’s a likely chance where his daughter could be the one who will take his place in the future.
3. Missing Person(s)
This isn’t much a surprise but it’s something that we have to add. A pole filled with missing person pages are seen posted, as Scott Lang looks at them confused. There’s no doubt that there are few posted. Imagine a family member disappearing out of the blue? Who wouldn’t want to look for them.
4. Quantum Suits
Rumors have been swirling around about the suits that will be featured in “Endgame.” Last year, a concept art that was leaked revealed these suits, upsetting a few fans. Many complained that they looked like trash but just like what I said about the concept art in Episode 9 of NerdTalk!, the suits will look better and they indeed do.
Now that we know that these are the suits that will be used for the Quantum Realm, it is safe to say that it will be a major importance in the film (duh!).
Also, if you look closely at both of the photos above of Scott Lang, in the one on the left, he’s looking at something and by the photo on the right, you can see a bright orange light forming. This can definitely be a clue of either the Quantum Realm forming or something bigger.
5. Captain Marvel Meets Thor
Two of the most powerful heroes are officially meeting and I don’t know about you, but this was definitely exciting to see. We already knew that they were going to meet sometime in the film but with Thor’s impression by saying, “I like this one,” the team up is going to be fun to see, especially with what Captain Marvel showed in her solo film (that film review will be up soon).
With all of this, not only were we gifted with an exciting trailer, but were given a beautifully done new poster.
Usually when it comes to trailer drops, tickets are available soon after but with today’s release, there have been no ticket release. There are some places that have released tickets but only for the May 3rd showing and since this film will be out by April 26th (April 25th for advance screening for the public), many are waiting patiently for the official ticket release.
I’m currently checking everywhere to see when the tickets will be available and there are speculation that the tickets will be released on April 2nd. No official word yet but I’m hoping we will get a sooner release date.
